I’ve been saying this for a WHILE now, but now its official. Jared Goff gained a father last night, Drew Brees is official his daddy now. I knew the Rams would put up a good fight, but in the end, it comes to down to raw talent, and the Saints have more of it. I mean, if I had to pick between New Orleans running backs, or Los Angeles running backs, it would be a tough choice but I would choose New Orleans, yes Todd Gurley by himself is better then Alvin Kamara or Mark Ingram, but he isn’t better than BOTH of them. The saints effectively have the most successful running situation In the game when you split the load between Kamara and Ingram. The fact is, this showed in Gurleys stats last night, it was by far his worst outing of the year, and the reason for that is he is their biggest weapon by far, and once an opposing team knows how to shutdown your biggest weapon, they’re no longer a threat. As a Patriots fan, I can honestly say I would rather play LA than New Orleans in a superbowl this year. The Rams are going to have to tighten up their defense, and become a bit (key word bit I understand they’re phenomenal) more versatile in their offense if they want to win the NFC championship this year.
